Die-hard motorcyclist Ken Kaplan had been in the computer industry for 25 years before purchasing the 205 year old Hockanum Mill; a former textile mill that had been neglected for decades.
From loom to 'vroom'; Family owned & now open for visitors, It now holds the largest collection of vintage and custom motorcycles in the Northeast. It consists of motorcycles owned by the Kaplan family, and those on loan by other private collectors.
The museum is funded and kept alive by the sales of classic motorcycles through our for-profit company Kaplan Cycles. By purchasing a motorcycle through our online-auctions you are directly helping keep the museum up and running.
With over 25 different brands of motorcycles, extensive motorcycling magazine archive, and memorabilia from the most iconic events and superstars in the industry's history, there is something for every motorcycle enthusiast.
